Galaxy Quest, the beloved Star Trek like TV series, has been cancelled 20 years earlier and the acting crew cling to their careers appearing at Science Fiction/Comic Conventions and electronics store openings. When a distressed inter stellar race mistakes the show for “historical documents” Captain Jason Nesmith and his crew of has-beens are unwittingly recruited to save them from a genocidal warlord. Galaxy Quest has become one of the ultimate cult classics with numerous laugh out loud scenes.
