Jewish Community Centre of Victoria (JCCV)

The Jewish Community Centre of Victoria (JCCV) opened its doors in June 1988. The JCCV is a charitable, non-profit organization providing educational, recreational, cultural and social programs for the Jewish community and the general public. Everyone is welcome.

The JCCV is an important facility for the Jewish community on Southern Vancouver Island. The Centre is a place in Victoria where any and all Jews can come together to celebrate and enjoy their Jewish heritage whatever their affiliation or level of religious observance.

Activities and programs at the Centre include: the Lox, Stock & Bagel Deli offering Jewish-style home-cooked food, a wonderful Library of Jewish literature and authors, A Judaica Gift Shop, Food-For-Thought Luncheons and Webinars with Guest Speakers, Virtual Jewish Conversation Café, Film Nights, Drop-In Mahj, Book Club, Social Walking Group, and an annual Jewish Film Festival.
