The JCCV is an important facility for the Jewish community on Southern Vancouver Island. The Centre is a place in Victoria where any and all Jews can come together to celebrate and enjoy their Jewish heritage whatever their affiliation or level of religious observance.

Activities and programs at the Centre include: the Lox, Stock & Bagel Deli offering Jewish-style home-cooked food, a wonderful Library of Jewish literature, A Judaica Gift Shop, “Wheels to Meals” seniors lunch every Thursday, luncheons with guest speakers, a Jewish Film Festival, and other Jewish theme events. The Centre also operates a food kiosk that participates in summer festivals on the Saanich Peninsula, such as the Victoria Celebrates Canada Day event and the Saanich Fair.
