Topic: Prepare, Beware and Don’t Despair, Advice for the Senior Driver
Speakers: Steve Wallace and Joan Wallace, Owners and Operators of Wallace Driving School
Steve Wallace has been teaching people throughout British Columbia how to drive safely and skillfully since 1976. Steve has been an elementary and secondary teacher in both public and private schools. He coordinated and taught School District 28’s Driver Education program for eight years and he became the first to do so with the driving simulator technology.
To date, Steve has personally taught over 25,000 students how to drive. He now teaches some of the grandchildren of his first driving students! A certified British Columbia Teacher, Steve is also a member of the Victoria Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.
If he’s not in the middle of teaching a lesson in his car, he’ll probably be out in the community delivering a seminar on safe driving or working on his weekly column in the Times Colonist.
