JCCV Library Book Acquisition Project

The JCCV started a new project!  We want to make sure the Centre’s library is stocked with current and appropriate books that relate to Jewish life and/or are written by Jewish authors.  To that end we have compiled a list of recent winners of the Western Canada Jewish Book Awards and the Vine Awards for Jewish Authors/Themes.  Please see the list below. Our intention is to acquire many of these books for the JCCV library every year and to make them available to our members.

You can help us in a few ways.  If you own any of these books we will gladly accept them as direct donations to the JCCV library. Your donation will be acknowledged on the inside front cover of the book.

If you would like to support this project financially we gladly accept donations.  The money raised through these donations will be kept in a special Library Book Acquisition Fund and will only be used to purchase appropriate books for our library.  All financial donations will receive an official tax receipt.

Our library is an important resource for the Greater Victoria Jewish Community.  Please help us keep it up to date and relevant.
